Nutrition Ninjas Family Dinners Week 1 and 2

Nutrition Ninja's have been excitingly working on their new family dinners project for Term 4. We started our program last week with slow cooked beef ragu with rigatoni and made thyme and lemon roast chicken with mashed potato and vegetables this week. The Family Dinners cooking experience provides children with the opportunity to develop real world skills, while developing autonomy and confident self identities through contributing to their family’s dinner routine. The children will also be given a great opportunity to develop a greater understanding of, and responsibility for, their own health and well being.
