Today the children got to design their own Hopscotch board and play Hopscotch in a variety of ways. This activity focused upon developing their teamwork and creativity skills.
The children developed key social and teamwork skills during this experience through a range of activities. Creativity was also developed when the children had exhausted a number of possibilities of play in the form of decorating the Hopscotch area with chalk pictures. The children were encouraged to work together and were prompted at various stages to ensure the full range of creative learning and active participation was observed.
