This morning at the breakfast table we had a sustainability yarning circle where we discussed and brainstormed different ways we could save the world. We shared how we felt when people don't look after the earth and how it may impact the future. We talked about strategies the children already know to be sustainable, and we brainstormed other things we can do to help the world.

The children were engaged and enjoyed chatting about different strategies they know/already incorporate at school or home to be sustainable and environmentally friendly. Through conversation, we were able to also identify areas we did not know much about. The kids mentioned that at school they use the language "Compost, Recycle, Reuse, Return" 1C3R's that we can also use and incorporate at OSHC
