At before school care this week, the children used pipe cleaners, beads and eyes to create their own dragonflies. The children worked with the educators to decide how we could create and mould the pipe cleaners to make dragonflies. We used beads to give the dragonflies some personality and utilised our googly eyes to individualise them. We enjoyed using sparkly pipe cleaners and the dragonflies looked amazing, almost as beautiful as the real thing! This activity helped us work in our fine motor skills, and allowed us to use our creativity. How cute are these?!
