This week is Mental Health Week, and throughout the week we will be doing many different activities that we can use to calm our bodies and relieve stress. We started Monday morning with a mental health yarning circle, which then led us to the afternoon, where we did painting. During our yarning circle, we discussed mental health and different activities that make us feel calm and happy, which included reading, drawing, hanging with friends, and many more.
Awareness, Belonging, Connection' is the topic for 2023, and it emphasises the fundamental factors that help people sustain positive mental health and wellbeing. It is about connecting with the people in our lives and making room for discussions on mental health and wellbeing.
