Our Nutrition Ninjas are back and better than ever! This week we made a delicious Shepherds Pie. Our newest ninjas worked on their fine motor skills by peeling our potatoes and were assisted by the older ninjas who gave them a hand when it got tough. Our older Ninjas tried their hand at using the frying pan, exercising caution and safety skills. We cooked the filling then topped it with our creamy mash potato and cheese and watched it bake away in the oven. We had lovely compliments on the smell of our pie and can’t wait to know how great it tasted for dinner!
