At after school care, the children collected rocks from the fitness trail and garden, and then painted them at the ramp. It allowed the children to experiment with nature play an creative play. Some children used it as an individual activity, painting their own rocks while still being social with the other children. Other children joined together to paint a big rock that was found at the fitness trail.
The activity is also designed in developing the creativity in the children by manipulating art utensils (paintbrushes) in new ways.
The children also expressed their PAWS in this activity by 'Acting Responsibly' and 'Showing Respect' when cleaning up the activity when they were finished.
