We started our week with drawing portraits of ourselves! This was a great activity as it is a way to support children's self-concept and identity by getting the students to really think about the different features of their face. We had conversations about how we all look different and have different smiles, eyes and face structures. We also pointed out how we are all beautiful in our own ways. This activity also allowed the children to express their creativity and practice their fine motor skills.
