Staying Sun Safe

At before and after school care, we frequently discuss how to protect oneself from the sun's rays. We are continuously thinking about safe practises, which include putting and reapplying sunscreen throughout the day and wearing hat outside. It is vital that educators set a good example by adhering to the same practices and applying sunscreen alongside the kids.

To expand on this, the kids created their own sun-safe selfies. This was a fun and educational activity in which we learned how to be safe in the hot Australian sun. We made sure to wear a hat, sunscreen, water, and shade in our selfies.
